2021: Senator Adeola Woos Constituents With Massive Empowerment~NEWSEXTRA

Not less than two thousand Residents of Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos on Sunday benefited from Senator Adeola Olamilekan 4th edition OF poverty alleviation and empowerment programme.

 
Newsextra reports that the Constituents were given 28 Refrigerators, 30 500 KVA Transformers, 330sewing machines, 28 deep freezers, 28 tricycles, 28 Hair dryers, 484 Grinding machine, 126 Vulcanizing Machines and many more at the empowerment programme which held at Police College Ground, Ikeja Lagos amid strict COVID-19 protocols. 

Senator Adeola Olamilekan in his remarks said "i thank you all for your overwhelmed endorsement before, during and after the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly Election which resulted to my re-election for second term as your Senator, I appreciate the confidence and trust bestowed on me and to my leaders most especially Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Alhaji Rabiu Oluwa, Elder Henry Ajomale, Cardinal Odumbaku, Dr Yomi Finnish, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson and A host of others i said thank you all. 





Senator Yayi when giving an account of his performance noted that it was the time to give back to our people, this is the 4th edition of my empowerment and i promise to do more for my people because given back to the needy in our constituency remains my number one priority.


He said at the peak of lockdown of the COVID-19, I donated N50 Million which was shared among individuals, groups and communities during the extended period of lockdown also i have delivered many dividends of democracy for my constituents in some critical arears that will serve not only many people but useful for many years ahead 

However i facilitated 6 major water works in form of solar powered boreholes and water treatment plant in six local governments  which are Ikeja, Ifako-Ijaye, Age, Oshodi-Isolo, Mushin and Alimosho, i personally constructed 12 boreholes in public places and similar number of toilets spread across the senatorial district. 



Also on education senator Yayi facilitated one week training for teachers in the state where the rudiment of online teaching were taught to over 147 teachers with due certification, he also donated 2 HP computer laptops to the school authorities of 36 selected schools for the purpose of assisting in online teaching. He also empowered 60 selected best students from secondary schools in Lagos West Senatorial district with laptops to encourage excellence.



"He said here are the little summary of my stewardship on your behalf so far, in relation to our huge population, the above might be a drop in the ocean relative to the huge need to met in our humongous senatorial district. I will continue to do my best to protect the interest of my constituents for many that are yet to benefit directly for the empowerment schemes, the door is not close as the exercises are continuous and will always be equitable among our diverse 10 LGAs and 18 LCDAs Senator Adeola added".

Those who grace the occasion are All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos State Chairman Honorable Tunde balogun, his Deputy Hon. Sanni Ajose, Lanre Ogunyemi, Chief Ologunde, Member house of Representative honorable babatunde Npe, representing badagry local govt, Traditional Rulers among others.
