#EndSARS: Lagos APC Leaders, Representatives Misled Tinubu~NEWSEXTRA

...Group Launches #onelagos
#UnitedLagos Project

A congressman and Concerned Nigerian youth with keen interest in All Progressives Congress (APC), Doyin Banjo has faulted Lagos APC Party Leaders, representatives in both state and national assembly for their lukewarm attitude amidst #EndSARS Civil unrest.

Speaking with group of journalist on Friday, Doyin Banjo queried: "Where were all our elected representatives during this crisis?

According to him, those who have been elected more than twice and claimed that only them can represent our people because they are well loved by the people are silent in this trying moment for Lagos.

''You all kept mute and left only the Governor to sort things out, you all kept mute like cowards;
From Senators to our house of Representatives members and house of Assembly members.

''You all failed your Party and the people of the State. You couldn't use your famed popularity with the boys to save the State from destruction and the property of our leader in your community.'' He lamented

Banjo therefore called on Political Office Holders from Lagos to step aside for abandoning Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

''Those of you from the Lagos Island, Ikeja, Ketu, Surulere, Isolo, Ikorodu should resign your positions, you are there and the Oba's palace, City Hall, High Court complex, police stations, were touched and you couldn't stop the boys with your famed popularity or the thugs came from the moon?

It is a shame.
You all misled Asiwaju to believe that Lagos is secured with you, how far now" ? He said angrily.

Banjo however appealed for calm among Lagosians, saying destroying state properties will only set the state backward.

Banjo and his committee of friends from 20LGA later launched
#UnitedLagos  to calm the tension in Lagos.
