High rate of crimes within Ajah jurisdiction, a need for urgent intervention~NEWSEXTRA





The rate of insecurity and criminalities around Langbasa, Addo, and Badore Ajah area of Lagos these days is quite alarming has criminals and cultist now clashes at will. The reprisal attack amongst these duos has contributed to the fear and tumult residents faces on daily basis. The fear of cult boys invading homes, robbing broad daylight in traffic and killings s now is rampant within the area. 

We learn that despite daily raiding and arrests by the Langbasa Police Divisional to ensuring that situation is tamed, it appears that there are other reformations of criminals and cultists coming from the defunct Badoo cult group in Ikorodu. The miscreants come into Ajah via Ijede Badore and Oke-ira ferry terminals / waterways. 

Recently on several occasion, there has been sporadic gun battles between Langbasa Policemen and these. However, our reporters stumbled on a crime scene where a Police operational team led by one Inspector Sunday accosted a cult guy who killed one Oriyom Yusuf in Badore around Addo Roundabout.  We also gathered he has been on trail by the Police but met his waterloo after a tough exchange of gun fight with the Policemen. 
It was not long ago that a criminal was lynched on Addo road after a successful robbery he shot at a soldier to scare people away from being nabbed but met his untimely death. Speaking with other eye witnesses around the scene, it was confirmed that robbers and cultists now uses different schemes and guises to rob and kill their victims. Calendar dates like 7/7/2020 or 8/8/2020 are dates that peculiar to cultists. These calendar dates are used as reprisal clash with their cult rivals and rob people of their valuables.
In recent times due to the COVID-19 lockdown menace, robbers invade homes; rob in the traffic during day and night. Hence, resident Langbasa, Addo, and Badore Ajah area of Lagos are pleading to the government to come to their rescue by supporting the Police with all  necessary apparatus so as to enhance their operations in order to curb crime and crimialities within and around Ajah area.
