Ohanaeze Ndigbo Elders In Lagos, Disassociates Self From John Uche~NEWSEXTRA

By Adeyemi Obadimu

The Lagos State elders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo disassociates themselves from the first pioneer president of the organization for life over misconduct, organized sabotage and abuse value of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State.

In a statement signed by the elders; "Chief John Uche is hereby expelled from the Lagos State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and no member of the organization shall dine and wine with him again. No member should henceforth associate with him and to the least, be in the same vehicle with him and many others".

According to the President of the organization, Lagos chapter, Chief Solomon Ogbonna; "It is unfortunate that John Uche made false and baseless publication about my academic certificate. It is not only baseless but also sentimental because he do not have any evidence or fact about the allegations he raised.

"However, the elders have come in accord to react because its always good to set the record straight for purpose of history and to also let the general public know the truth about the certificate allegation. To become the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State, one does not require academic certificate to lead the organization.

"It was made clear that Solomon Ogbonna  has never presented or tendered any certificate to any group before he emerged the President just because the submission of a certificate is not a requirement to run the organization, what is required is speaking Igbo language fluently, common wisdom, intelligence, human relations and above all, ALTRUISM".

Therefore, Chief Solomon Ogbonna has given Ndigbo a very huge voice in Lagos State today, his personal touch to lives is second to none, John Uche who claims to be founder of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State was never the founder, and if he claims to be the founder, that does not give him impetus to demolish or set on fire the house he claimed to have built.

John Uche, the impostor was clearly excommunicated by Prof. Ben Nwabueze, the then leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide before Chief Nzewi became the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State and John Uche remained excommunicated from all Ohanaeze Ndigbo activities worldwide before Chief Oliver Akubueze took over from Nzewi.

Records has it that Chief Oliver Akubueze went to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Headquarters, Enugu several times pleading tirelessly onbehalf of John Uche before Enugu granted Chief Oliver’s request and release John Uche from excommunication bondage. The reason John Uche was excommunicated were linked to extortion, indiscriminate, installation of kingship/Eze in Lagos state, embezzlement of Ohanaeze funds, questionable, immoral, atrocious, abominable, unspeakable and adulterous Behaviours with Ohanaeze married women, sabotaging Igbo Agenda among others.

"Henceforth, John Uche has been banned  from all activities of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State. John Uche will never be allowed to attend Ohanaeze Ndigbo activities or events anymore. No Ohanaeze Ndigbo  member will eat or dine with John Uche. No one will even drink ordinary water from John Uche or give him to drink. No Ohanaeze Ndigbo member shall buy from John Uche or sell to him. No Ohanaeze Ndigbo member shall belong to or share the same organization, association or platform with John Uche. No Ohanaeze Ndigbo member shall visit John Uche or receive him as a visitor no matter what the condition might be. No Ohanaeze Ndigbo member shall enter the same car, bus or any type of vehicle with john Uche".

"Any member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State member, Ndi or Onye Eze, no matter his or her status or position that goes contrary to the above listed condition shall cease to be Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Sate member and all his right, position, crown and entitlement forfeited and withdrawn", he added.
