New Langbansa Ajah DPO, Abifarin pledges residents maximum security~NEWSEXTRA

The new Langbansa Ajah Divisional Police Officer, CSP Segun Abifarin has passed a vote of confidence to the residents, and assured them maximum security during his stay at Langbasa Ajah division.

CSP Segun Abifarin who resumed office on Monday, 20th of April swing into action and curb Coronavirus violators.

According to one of the resident, Abiola Sanni who pointed out that before the new DPO assumed office on Monday, they could not feel the effectiveness of the lockdown in Ado, Ajah Langbasa and it's environment. She affirmed the road is always busy with commuters defying the lockdown rules.

"They always give the security operatives one excuse or the other to escape the blocked mounted road, the bike and tricycles are busy doing their business as transporters everyday. Therefore, the lockdown here is not effective here, she added".

Meanwhile, the DPO affirmed to NEWSEXTRA Editor in his office that  on his resumption, he led capable officers like, Inspector Sunday and Yomi to mention but few work tirelessly and make sure people comply with the stay at home directive from government.

He said, "Within the period of 4-day I assumed office, we have impounded over fifty trycyicles and motorcycles who are going about their daily business and violating the government directive".

"This effort is to support the what the Nigeria government as directed us to do. Coronavirus is real and everybody need to stay at home, I promise you once again maximum security and there will be peace in this community during my stay as the DPO of this station", Segun Abifarin added.
