The  National Leadership of United Political Party Group, Ogun State chapter has given the Ogun State governor, prince Dapo Abiodun an ultimatum of 24 hours to retract his statement that the All Progressive Congress, APC  is the only party in the  State.

In a statement which was signed by the National chairman of GDPN, Amb Odion Okpebholo and national coordinator of UPPG, also threatened to embark on protest if the governor did not retract his statement.

It was gathered that the attack was coming barely five hours after the governor made the statement at the formal declaration and presentation of flags to defectors from African Democratic Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party held at Ake Palace, Abeokuta.

The two political parties in the state have also demanded that the governor retract his statement about the state being a one party state.

The parties include Grassroots development party of Nigeria and United political party Group.
